Question: How do I soften my nappies?

Hang your nappies inside to dry 2 or 3 times. The sun tends to create the crispy feeling in the terry - but it also whitens and keeps them odour free so you do want to keep doing it.

Dry them on cool in the dryer - this works every time for nice soft fluffy nappies

Wash them with no detergent and full water in the machine 1, 2, or even 3 times to get rid of detergent build up. If this method does fix the stiffness you may need to cut down on the detergent you use when washing them.

Never use fabric softener as this creates a film on the nappies and renders them less absorbent. 

Question: Do you send out samples?

Question: How long does delivery take?

Answer: We send your purchases via Australia post or express post depending on your choice at checkout. Please allow 1-3 working days handling time and, depending on your area, 1-3 working days delivery time.

Question: Do I need anything else after purchasing The Bamboonies Nappy Pack?

Answer: No! Everything you need is included in the pack. Once you use the liners and nappy wash you will need to replace these items. There are other items you may wish to use like a Nappy Sprayer for your toilet.

Question: Do Bamboonies nappies have an Oeko-Tex Standard certificate?

Answer: Yes, the company that provides our fabric has a current Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certificate showing that their fabrics have been tested for harmful substances, in accordance with class 1 for baby articles, and meets the human ecological requirements of that standard.

Question: Arent cloth nappies difficult and time consuming?

Answer: Once you start using cloth nappies you will wonder why everyone else doesn’t use them also. It takes a day or two to become an expert nappy folder if you are using flats, making changing baby almost as quick as disposables. Throwing a load on every second morning and hanging it up takes ten to fifteen minutes.

Question: Why use Bamboo?

Answer: It is softer and more luxurious than cotton. Growth and production is better for our environment than cotton and disposables.
